I bought a Z32 recently that has an aftermarket ECU. It also has the D585 LS2 truck coil conversion. Looking at the wiring; they cut the IGN coil's output relay wire that would naturally feed the coils. Then placed another relay inline to it, to re-feed the coil wires with a 30A circuit breaker upstream of the new relay that has direct battery connection. (The circuit breaker looks practically the same as the "Narva 54630" if one was to Google search) Do the coils need the 30A circuit breaker protection? Considering that the battery power would have run first through fusible link section.
I do assume the Ls2 truck coils would be running much higher amperage than the stock z32 coils (which i think is no more than 15amps). I suppose the previous owner has bypassed the stock fusible link for the coils as it would melt pretty quickly, and replaced it with the 30amp circut breaker for a safer current delivery so the coils can get a much higher charge
