Installed eBay silicone intake hoses. They're not a perfect fit. One had to be cut to size, but over all much easier to manage than hard pipes or original hoses. Plus I think the red works well with a red car

Taking the lockdown time to do a few upgrades.

Fitting a pair of 2860's bigger cooler piping and 3inch dump pipes clutch and few other good bits.

Parked it in the bay where my work van was stolen from last weekend, used it for bait...

Had the dry chemical extinguisher go off in the back and fill the cabin with yellow eye watering chemicals. I think i just invented a new interior colour. Mustard.

Many are wondering but I'll ask straightout - what was happening in the back that would set off the extinguisher?

it's all in the preparation and takes a few seperate drives to accomplish. It also helps if your other cars are not running or the wife won't let you put a disassembled navara bottom end in her new prado so you have to use a 300zx as the worlds worst ute.
1st, require the space occupied by the bolted in extinguisher.
2nd, remove extinguisher from its frame and let it rattle around in the hatch for a trip or 2.
3rd, get professional and place extinguisher in a plastic tub along with used engine parts you are transporting in your 300zx faux ute. Your not an idiot after all and this thing could become dangerous if it became a projectile.
4th, just wait for the right moment when the stiff suspension and a bumpy windy valley road combine to dislodge the safety pin and and pull the handle.

Simple really I'm surprised you had to ask.

A few sparrows have flitted in and crapped on it. And there's a spiderweb in one of the exhaust pipes. Spidey is in for a surprise eviction tomorrow.

Nice smokescreen there JB but when I got to "the wife" I thought TL;DR they defs did it in the back seat and kicked the extinguisher hard enough to set it off but you're not out to brag about it :D
Anyway, 2 + 2 300zx's make good utes and rabbit shooting platforms in the right terrain.

I only have the 2+0 ute. The chances of me getting lucky in a 300zx --- 0 . But the guy before me was apparently much more successful. when i bought the car i unbolted the seats and cleaned out the interior. I found an empty packet for a morning after pill under the passenger seat.

Jeebus. I opened the door for tacky comments but mate, that has me reeling! We're supposed to be talking about what was done to our Zeds, not who was done inside them :D
