Ok, I know this is a monumental task but I feel I am up to it. After being an N/A owner for the last 12 years I thought it was finally time I built a TT. ...from scratch! lol! 1st up fitted some Shnazzy Red underdrive pulleys... All finished minus the plenum and ready to go in... Mounted and gee what a nice clean chassis this is... notice I've completely hidden all plumbing and electricals lol! The body is all painted but the acrylic has reacted with the plastic... er I mean alloy, so will need to rub it back before a clear coat goes on... Added some nice Coilovers... ...watch this space!
Nice work mate, glad to see you're sticking with a red Z. Where did you buy your clutch fan it's HUGE! Must be fantastic for cooling
Z1 Motorsports.. Yeah I got it from Z1 Motorsports for $158.00 US. lol! If the car doesn't work out I could always use the engine in a boat since it already has a prop big enough to push the Titanic lol!
Update... I can't believe how quickly this is coming together and I don't even have a workshop or a hoist!! :rolleyes2: Put the control arms and the diff and subframe together tonight...
More goodies... Custom made steering wheel by Ramspeedcarbon lol! Microscopic Plenum Stickers... gosh I'll be a qualified Micro Surgeon after this! Cabin complete...
All finished! I was going to take it for a spin but it's raining and a wise soul once told me "never drive a TT in the rain" lol! https://s20.postimg.org/cuoysjk4t/IMG_20170205_112651.jpg https://s20.postimg.org/g5dbsfa25/IMG_20170205_174750.jpg Fairwell my Beast...thanks for the amaaaaazing times you've given me!! :br:
