There is no such diagram available. There are pin out and wiring diagrams that tell you colour and where they go. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=...lJQKHcBzAJwQ_AUICCgB&biw=1600&bih=770#imgrc=_ In general you would not service or diagnose by checking all ECU connections. A lot of information is in the EF&EC section of the manual about voltage ranges and resistance to check/test individual components. Is there a particular thing you are chasing or checking ?
Thanks Gunwarm & Brisz for your input. The story so far. replaced '90 NA Z32 motor with '95 Wouldn't start, so swapped '95 CPU also. Still didn't run. Put a cleaner thru fuel lines, injectors, cleared glug. Injectors now clicking. Spark has been tested. Checked correct leads on correct plugs. Engine turns over & sounds like it wants to fire, but won't. Mechanic wants to test electrics as he can't work out why it won't fire. You don't know any Z mechanics in Wagga area, do you.?
Due to #2 cylinder exhaust valve leaking, head was removed and sent for machining, two valves replaced. Re-assembled & into car.
Nothing else? Didn't do any coolant hose bypasses, timing belt change? Didn't inspect/replace any vacuum hoses, spark plugs or wiring connectors? Didn't replace any coolant hoses at the rear of the engine?
No bypasses. Timing belt was replaced. Position of cogs noted, timing marks noted, photos taken. Mechanic assures me he has double checked. All hoses were replaced while motor was accessable. I believe plugs were also changed. The replacement ECU doesn't have a red light built into it, as the original did. Mechanic also says there is no instrument panel light, that would serve the same purpose?
Have you tried to start it using Aerostart? If it runs, look at the fuel system. If it still won't go, look at the ignition system. You have double checked the wiring has been connected correctly haven't you? Have you connected ConZult or something similar?
Im guessing you have no consult, have you tried shorting the consult port as per the tech section to get codes from a flashing check engine light ?
I've got a 90 TT Zed that had an issue starting, when attempting to turn it over you heard the fuel pump prime and then could smell fuel whilst it was trying to start, but it seemed like it wasn't getting spark. Was a faulty Series 1 PTU, which was working one day then stopped the next. Another suggestion I'd have is try another PTU if you have one laying around and are sure it's getting fuel but still won't start.
There have been a few PTU's blown with engine out work, when the engine is refitted engine earths are left off and an attempt to start fries the PTU. I was hopping to see if there were any codes first but the PTU is possible. It would be nice to see that the ECU is running first, then codes.
