Need a set of tailgate struts for a 2 seater TT with spoiler. Where is the best place? Is there another model car that matches etc? Any help appreciated.

Might be best to google "gas struts" and find a local company
Get the ones with good replacement warranty 1 or 2 years
They will put them on and adjust the gas pressure to suit your needs
My 2 seater when I pop the hatch goes all the way up on its own
Which is great when you get back to the car with arms full of goodies
I do have remote boot release

May not be the cheapest but it comes with an over the counter warranty with SuperCheap.

Its from StrongArm struts there part number 4818 for a "grey import" Z32 2 seater with spoiler, non-turbo.

SuperCheap did also list Monroe but they didn't have a break down for 2/2+2 with or without spoiler, so I would be more trusting of StrongArm.

SuperCheap "Special Order" part number SPO3264518, just check it converts to the 4818 number with StrongArm, $52.99 each (2 req), as quoted on SuperCheap website.

May be a $10 odd special order fee, but to make a call and pick up local its not bad.

There are numerous mobile "Strut Service Techs" in the Yellow Pages, they can rebuild OR replace your struts at a very reasonable price(I had mine done about 18 months ago...it took less than 30 mins).
