Hi People. I want to completely remove the whole HICAS system, and I want it to look as neat as possible. So am I correct in saying that I will need a NA power steering reservoir and NA power steering pump? I already have a lock out bar, am I missing anything? I have searched but I could only come up with people joining or blocking off hoses etc. Thanks in advance. Col
To do a complete delete, get the driftworks lockout kit. You remove the arms that get play in them and remove the balljoints that dont last 30,000km its a bit more effort to fit but its nicer than using old crappy parts.
Hey thanks. They do look like a pretty good kit, but since I already have a lock out bar, and new suspension bushes to put in I will stick with what I have. My main question was around the NA stuff and exactly what I need to do to get the engine bay as neat as possible. Cheers
Yeah, you'll want the NA pump and res to get it cleaned up fully, there are other options but none of them are as clean unless you go for a custom electric PS set up.
