I just wanted to take a few moments to give a huge shout out to Carl (90TTZ) from Epic Automotive Concepts South Brisbane. My 91 manual TT that was on its last legs only a couple of months after ownership. It blew more smoke in 30 seconds then your granddad did his whole life. Some of you guys may remember my ugly journey when I first joined the forum 8 months ago. Never the less Carl came to the rescue and rebuilt me an awesome engine from bottom up, with high flowed turbo HD clutch Big radiator New Power steering rack Fixed my gearbox Bead blasted my plenum and fixed many many little things around the car. It drives absolutely AMAZING now, and has some serious power after Carl worked his magic. What Im really trying to say here is that I thought I'd never trust another mechanic again. BUT...... CARL was honest, up front and kept me in the loop with everything that was going on. There is no Grey area with his work and that is why he has such a high and respected reputation in his field of expertise. I'd recommend (Epic Automotive Concepts) to the serious horsepower junkie right through to the armature Zed enthusiast who has just joined the game. I look forward to working with Carl in the near future for more performance upgrades.
I'll happy vouch for his work also, he has done a lot of work on my car already making if far superior to graysonvario. He gives great prices and even better workmanship. 10/10 would break down again to see him.
I get a lot of work done to my zed too and its on its way to a dyno tune very soon. My car went into stumbling issues few months back and after replacing everything from an afm to a cas and so on, it made no difference but after taking it to carl with in a few minutes he was able to dignose that it was the o2 sensors and replaced them. Sonce then my car has been running very smooth and is very responsive and reliable. I also recommend him to anyone :br:
