    Hi,

At the start of 2014 my brother Shane, known on these forums as blackheartedprofit, passed away. His Z that he called the 'Predator' was a huge passion, and this forum was instrumental in helping him develop knowledge, source parts, and spend his money! The forum also gave him a community of like minded souls to belong to and to connect with, and he would drive the 1100km round trip to Perth to meet up and spend time with fellow Z fanatics.

Some of my favourite photos of Shane where when he dropped by to visit me on a Perth visit back in 2007, rocking the Ned Kelly outlaw t-shirt, the 6T6T6 numberplate, the black rims, the backyard matte black paint job over the original red paint, and some classic tunes blaring out of the stereo. Shane saw a red car, he wanted it painted black.

The Predator is still around, but is a bit worse for wear. I have hung onto it for 12 months trying to work out what to do with it, but it is time to let it go. It is listed over on the For Sale forum: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=332635

Back when Shane was a regular on the Forum he and myself shared many a late night PM.

He was a great guy, bright and deep thinking with a top sense of humour.

    RIP Shane.
