Let us know how you went with that and the processes and expenses for other people bringing cars into NSW.
They will send me at no cost the import papers, thats all I need. All so if I can but I cant as I tried to get copies of last 2 years qld rego papers . So qld said for me to try get nsw police to get me copies as that's the only way to get hands on old rego. eek reading that old post has me concerned for my car! I'm still running on my vic plates but I've moved up to sydney...on a scale of 1 to butt devastation, how much pain am I in for when it comes to transferring the rego over to NSW? I don't believe I have a green plate
I rang a lady in country NSW 8 months ago she was selling her NA 300zx The add said can be registered in Vic but not in NSW I asked why it cant be registered in NSW and she said it is not compliant I asked if she had papers for it and she said yes - I had to write off to Canberra to get them but NSW would still not register the car I didnt go any further nor did I ask anymore questions - Wierd
I am learning fast, need green plate, import papers. Have both and will let you all know in 2 days (Been told all will be fine, even lambo doors) but im what you young ones call old 59,but feel 18 :zlove::br:

Thanks for that. This will help other members that are considering buying an interstate car and what they have to go through to register via blue slip in NSW. I am surprised you did not need an engineers certificate for any mods on the car.
