MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY..!!!!!!! Got these for christmas but wrong size ive done some research and they fit 92-95. mine is a 90 model someone please buy so i have the money to buy the right ones haha here is some pics BLACK with BLUE LED behind mirror and on side asking $100
I got the wiring to match up perfectly and then tried to mount the face plate or whatever it's called and couldn't get it to fit . The screw holes were in a totally different position and the whole triangle plate was about 30mm to small all round. you have me second guessing my self now so I'm going back out to the shed to measure it.
these are the exact measurements 30.5 x 21.5 x 18 I drew it up on my table exactly and put the new mirror face plate in it to compare
Possibly you were sent the wrong items or their catalogue was wrong. Where did you get them from. Because as Anti said all the backing plates are the same, i believe they didn't change even in the later models could be wrong tho.
I was looking at these some time back & put up the same question on the forum as to whether there was a difference between 90 & 92 backing plates & according to Rob260 there is a difference. I also contacted the seller to see if they made them for 90 models & they informed me that they didn't think the maker of these did make them for 90's but couldn't confirm. Maybe someone could show us the difference between the two. Also the securing holes in the actual door it self may be different as well but you could get around that. Cheers Grahame.
As above, sorry to say that these aren't going to fit any other Z32 any more than they do yours. They don't fit because they are generic after market mirrors made in bulk in China and listed on eBay to suit whichever car the seller feels like saying at the time. I have fit "early model" after market mirrors to a late model car, the age gap dictated by the different wiring plugs. The mounting points/sizing is the same. This is the reason your mirrors have been advertised with bare wiring pins exposed, so they can be inserted to many different plugs across various models. Same as HID kits.
