I just found and bought my dads old 25th annaversary 300zx for $2000 im soo happy to get this car back its the reason why I fell in love with the 300zx needs abit of work tho needs a full respray as its in primer atm and a new bonnet as that was removed and kept buy the previous owner can't wait to see it all up and going again
Yeah totally worth it I would have payed more its only got 120k on the clock had about 110 or so when we sold it many yrs ago cant seem to post pics up on here Im deciding now whether or not to keep my silver 300 or not also tossing up changing the color from red to black on the 25th
upload to photobucket then link them to here. with the 25th anniversary, dont chnage the colour or the bodykit. if you do, it ceases to be a anniversary model anymore, its "just another modified zed" if you want to colour swap the car our change bodywork, better of doing it to a non "special edition" model.
Stuff that. I want to see a black 25th anniversary. The car already has a crap load of ks on it so resale in the future won't be top dollar anyway. Body kit wise though I agree not to change it.
Im not changing the body kit just the paint and making it manual I know its bad to do that and it takes away from the originality of it but for me thats my perfect zed
Good stuff nick, I'm a red fan boy but a 25th in a dark colour is much nicer. black, purple or even that metallic green colour would be awesome to see. After all, just because Aussie 25ths didn't have a specific colour doesn't mean the car can't be changed for the better. Good luck.
Thanks john take care of my silver zed for me hope its all good after today Mike ive decided to go the stock red on it after talking to my father (still think black would have been nice or a midnight purple) I am still tossing up on the manual conversion. This car isn't going to be driven very often nor will it be ever sold or have aftermarket bits tossed in it. I have my silver 300zx for all the lil silly bits I take a fancy to
