Cheapest Replacement Turbos

    what are the cheapest replacement/upgrade turbos that bolt straight on?

    not long about 3 months that's about all my son get of these on his s13.....

    really... ****ING REALLY.... dear god...
    how about you fix the hole in your back end or your wiring or any of the dozen other things need doing just to get.it up to scratch.. You cant afford fuel let alone turbos that will actually be useful...

    A member on here (i think GOTTAGO was his name?) Had godspeed gt2871r's that were rebuilt and apparently lasted fine. Get them taken apart, balanced, new seals etc and they should be fine.

    could always go for some second hand ones, depending on condition, whats the best way of checking turbo condition when looking at used ones?

    Don't ignore everyone's advice, fix your zed, then upgrade it.

    Check for shaft play, damaged fins, cracked housings, oil. Plenty of things to go wrong.

    yeah i've been working on it as much as i can, resoldering, changing old broken connectors for new ones, fixing a few things here and there... of course having a job would make this a lot easier and speed things up

    Do you mean cheapest possible snails for that individual purchase? Or cheapest and most economically sound over the remaining running life of the vehicle?

    New cores are $440 each from CZP .

    Rebuilding them yourself to FAR BETTER than stock

    is the best and cheapest option.
