Red '95 2+2 N/A : (from lolwut) No not for me ..my son.. couldn't talk him out of it Suppose he has been in mine the last 14 Damn they are slow
Yeah front bar will be replaced . Upgrades down the road but nothing that isn't reversible to original condition . Pod Labree cat back Coil overs Wheels. That's it Too nice a car to destroy
No, I mean dumps. I've heard that style hangs a lot lower than stock. Pics of dump & test pipes would be great.
Have finished shaping the intercooler mouth ,cut it back a few mm and fitted a rubber seal . Seal allows for 10mm crushable clearance
Looking good! Did you glue the weather stripping seal on? The air pushing under this area may push the weather stripping seal off.
No Impossible to come off . There is less than 5mm left on the crushable area and the part that slides on is over 12mm. .
Airtray Finished making my airtray out of 1mm sheet aluminium. This allows 100% cool air to the top half of the radiator core while seperating the air coming in from the intercooler . May put the same rubber seal same as the intercooler ..on the edge of tray against the radiator .
Very nice - clean... gives me some ideas. I would like to construct something for planar dual pop intakes that would separate them from the elements as well as guide most if not all of the air to the a/c condenser and radiator.
IMO you should make something like what I have on my radiator to help seal that gap between the upper rad mount frame and the rad as per:
already have it ..its pretty much a sealed box now . although looking at the full radiator bracket from Coz instead of the AMS ones
If you have the seal on the back of the front panel and the seal under the bonnet those air guides are completely redundant as when you close the bonnet that area is sealed anyway. I see you have a CF bonnet but even still you could fit a seal in the stock position & job done - less clutter and weight in the car The big gap between the rad and the top rad support does need something though, even on the OEM rad the fitted a little ally strip to reduce the gap. You should be able to make something like mine up surely? no need to spend money on something so simple if you have access to the gear
maybe you can't see in the pic but there is no gap ..1mm at best The C/F panel is almost hard up to radiator. And also without it air does go up and over the rad support and radiator. (I dont have the rubber seal.. actually might put it on ,still on the old bonnet)
Had to seal the fuel surgetank for the track so decided to make it a pretty feature . sound was never a problem but its even quieter now especially with the carpet over it I welded some 50mm wide flat bar at the rear of wheel well so I can seal it completely . Gave the boot a fresh coat of satin black engine enamel. . cut out slightly tinted 5mm perspex using the original masonite wheel well cover as a template. Put a rubber seal around the edge. . All sealed ,has a few vent holes at the bottom . Currently has metal screws, will be putting 6mm thread inserts with black 6mm countersunk screws . will be anodising the surge tank in red as well. hard to take a decent pic with the glare.
