Hi pal Iv since changed the side skirts (all steel now) to more smoother lines. I like to put pics uP but im working off my iPhone and for some reason i cant upload any pics, the front guards are also pumped all the way from the side mirror to the skirts..
WOW that is wide, i look forward to seeing it finished. Makes the kit im building look tiny in comparison. Keep up the good work.
2080mm wide It doesnt fit on 99% of car trailers (learnt that the hard way.) Wheels are work viennas 18x12 with 265 tyres stretched front and back, they were a negative offset but i dont remember what the offset was, the rear has 8 inches of dish.
BigRed, if you're storing pics in Photobucket, putting pics up in this site is easy. 1.) Start creating your post in Aus300zx. 2.) Open the pic up in Photobucket. 3.) On the right are 4 links - left click the "direct link" URL and it should say "copied". 4.) At the point in your post where you want the pic to go, left click the little box above with the mountain in it. A text box will open up. 5.) Right click over the blue http, and left click 'paste'. 6.) Your photobucket URL will appear. Left click 'OK', and you are done. Like the work you're doing. Did any of this work take place in Bennet St., Dandenong? There was a red Z32 getting some wide body treatment there a couple of years back.
Thanks pal, i only just managed to get these pics up.. Oh and no, that wasnt my z on bennet st, mine hasnt left my garage in 2.5years..It will soon though, i recently got a small factory in Dandenong and have started building the (custom) cars, bikes and boats from there. Id really like to get the zed on the road by jan 13 as the jdm meet is on and it would be good advertiseing for me but iv got other project in front at the moment.Even if i get it moveing with a stock tt just to speed things up, and once the meets over ill pull the motor out and go single.
ive seen this in person and it looks epic sexy, cant wait until the finale product. might have to pop down soon to see your progress dude
Can I ask why you went to the tapered skirt design over the straight? Both look great but I am curious anyway.
It was just a suggestion by my older brother and i just went for it. I think its a bit more of a classy'er look? While i have to admit i liked the whole in your face box skirts but i think they were just too out there...
sweet almost the same thoughts I had, I do think the car could very easily have pulled off the box style skirts though.
