    OK here's the deal

324mm are GTR rotors. To fit these you need "UAS Stage 1 Brake Upgrade" which includes adaptors to fit standard calipers to the larger rotors. You can improve the pad/rotor coverage by choosing the right pads.

The 343mm "UAS 343MM BIG BRAKE KIT FOR NISSAN 300ZX" you will notice includes adaptors to use your standard calipers. They also suggest that this kit is not suitable for motorsport applications but if you're building a show car shouldn't be a big deal.

As far as rears, UAS carry AP, Alcon, Brembo and Stoptech kits for the rear.

Should add that all the upgrade "kits" on their website include everything you need for fitment.

If you have the money to spend and are serious about buying I would suggest calling John or Tim 02 9620 9000 they will be able to go through your options with you. There is a bit to choosing the right kit when you consider rotor coverage, wheel clearance, application etc

The UAS site is wrong. The ad for the 343mm rotors and kit came from the Skyline section and they just changed it to 300zx. The adaptors with the kit are for r32 calipers, I guarantee TT calipers will not fit.

I have played with a set of UAS 324mm rotors and adaptors.

As far as adaptors go, the UAS ones are as good as you get with stock calipers. The pad overhang is minimal with only 1mm of pad not on the rotor.

This is way better than the others I have seen. Some of which have up to 3mm of pad not on the rotor.

    mr zed x chassis scrubbin..

didnt they say tho that the pic was of r32 calipers etc. but the actual set is for the z32??

well i'll do a bit more re-search, hard to get alot of information for.
i think hearing that, when it comes time to buy (i.e - right price) i will most likely will get the 324mm kit for the fronts.
and i'll keep it in mind tim, look out soon for a GB on these.

so the 343 mm BBK is a better buy then? as it includes adapters etc? but still meaning i couldn't use the N/A calipers?

i dont get how the 324 mm kit needs the stage 1 upgrade as they are smaller than the other 343 BBK?

    confusing.

just one question rob, who are John or Tim ? haha. UAS employees or? yeah now i have found you are most definitely right. theres more than meets the eye !

which set was it exactly graham?
i thought as the guys were saying the UAS 324 kit needed stage 1 upgrades rather than just adaptors?

would these be suitable getting 324 rotors, TT calipers and the adaptors?

    kindest regards.
    rod.

The 324mm kit is the UAS Stage One Upgrade.

John -owner/manager, screen name UNIQUE ZED
    Tim -sales manager

Both have years of experience with Z32 and will be able to help you out.

Graham is talking about the "UAS Stage One Upgrade" which includes 324mm rotors and the neccessary adaptors. You will still need TT calipers, I can sell you set if you like.

Just buy the kit and a second hand set of calipers. The kit has everything you need.

You obviously need some help, call the guys selling the gear (if you are genuinely interested) 02 9620 9000.

if you want to use 343mm rotor,
get a pair of R33 gtst caliper, dont get r32 gtst.

R33gtst caliper is slightly bigger than z32 tt caliper,
rotor size is 296mm vs 280mm
    width is the same 30mm
so in theory, with the same adaptor, r33 gtst caliper can go bigger rotor, say 340mm

or get gtr brembo caliper, use same adaptor, go to 360mm rotor.

but anything bigger than 324mm will cost you BIG.

These are the 324mm rotors, with adaptors for stock TT calipers.

It all bolts straight on. I suggest this is your best course of action.

Sorry for reviving an old thread.
So the 2005 (is it only the 2005 model?) STI rear brembo will bolt straight up and also retain 100% use/functionality of our handbrake?
But this upgrade is not a BBK per-say, is it?
Is the STI brembo that much better than our oem caliper to spend the money on?
I was hoping to find a good used set of 350Z rear brembo's (to match my front 350Z brembo's that I've been extremely happy with for the last 3 years) but I'm unaware if they bolt right up, or require an adapter and if so, is there an adapter made somewhere for this. I've heard in passing that the 350Z rear brembo will also retain 100% use/functionality of our handbrake but haven't heard/seen solid confirmation on this.
Since a good set of used 350Z brembo's is probably a lot more easier (and cheaper) to find nowadays, I'd like to explore that option.
    Good idea?

If your not tracking the car have a look at k-sport they do front and back brake kits, 13" 14" 15" rotors,
There as good as the top brands for the street, only difference is in race conditions on a track day you'd notice the difference between ksport, ap, brembo they all stop good once twice three times in a row, doing laps around the track is when you need to spend the big bucks.
