G'day guys and gals i have looked thru the tech section and unless i'm going blind or stupid or both, i cannot find what size the speakers are for the fronts and rears on a 2+2.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Cheers for that Anti, much appreciated. My clapped old ones sound like a wrecked old gramaphone . So time to start looking around for a 4ch amp and 3 way speakers me thinks.

3 ways sound shit and wont fit in the rear unless they are very shallow, I have 6.5 components all round in mine, It required rediculous amounts of modifying to fit them in the rear though, unless your lucky enough to have a set of bose boxes.

Yeah go at least component 6.5" up front ...
If you have to 6 x4 in the rear ..
There are some great 6x 4 out ATM just search

I've got a set of 5x7 in the rear of mine, a bit of modification of the bracket and they sit flush.

So you guys reckon the 2 way speakers are better than the 3 ways ? If so that'll save me some dosh as i already have a 2ch amp, just might need to hook up a discrete sub in the back

    My 90 JDM 2+2 Non-Bose speakers were 5" front and 4"x6" rear.
I removed both metal speaker mounts from front and rear.
Using the Ebay ABS plastic faceplate adapters one can install 6.5" speakers in the front and 6.5" in the rear using the oem Bose speaker enclosure.

    like mentioned above.

fronts are 6"... you can force a 6.5 in there if you like but use a spacer.

in the rears they are 4*6. but with little mods you can get a 5*7 and these are factory in ford ba-bf. this is good as you have much cheaper options..
fusion powerplants are very good value for money speakers in the rear.

up front is up to you.. have a listen to a few pairs.
