HUGE Thanks to Maree and Gav once again for hosting a fantastic day/night/weekend!! Hospitality was great and so much food and of course to Al (ztoy) for his dicnballouche for dessert Tech day was very productive with around 15 zeds and lots of new faces! Was great to meet everyone. Personal thanks to Al and Mike who helped me with my car! The night was entertaining as per usual! I'm sure I saw a few people taking some pics so please post them up! Look forward to the next one!!
There was a "Tech....Day"? Here's Fate's doing! For anyone interested, we got Kym's thing in full running condition by mid afternoon today. Clutch needs adjusting and probably some other stuff but she goes again!
Thanks to Gav and Maree and all the guys i met and spoke to on the day. Also thanks Al for fixing my gauges and getting my zed up on the hoist. Also managed to do some vinyling, got some roof bars done and the crossfire A pillars. And finally mike, cheers for the diagnostics on the car...im glad to know my speed limiter is 480kmph. Ill use that knowledge with the greatest of care... And sorry Maree for ruining your grass trying to drift....when i was coming in and going out :br::br::br::rofl::rofl::rofl: Start of the day. Myself, 2 thumbs up and Fate over at the other shed.
Was great to catch up with Maree, Greg, Baz and Cam ... (mmhh, not sure about Cam) ... looked like you had a great time, as usual. Gotta love iPhone and Skype .... :zlove:
Many thanks to Gav and Maree for a fabulous weekend and especially for their part in the resurrection of ZED activities in SEQ ... now we must ensure the impetus is maintained. Gav, the Codswallop is looking magnificent .. just remember that i need to be there for the first "kick over" ...whoopee !!!! thanks to AL for the not so simple "plug and play" install and to Ash for the speaker dash to Supercheap. and a thank you to Fate for the master cylinder install and a brilliant FIRE !!! the wonders of technology gave us a visit from K-zed who is looking about 20 years younger .. something he is doing is certainly working .. good stuff, Jo. finally, it was great to catch up with so many of the oldies again and to meet a heap of the newer members. all in all, a magic weekend despite the Melbourne type weather on Saturday .. thunder storms, lightning, cold winds and then hot, hot ... !!!
Thanks everyone for coming along and making the day a fun time for all. We are happy to help the club continue its reputation for fun and good times as well as Z festivities Remember Dec 17th for Christmas party.
I just uploaded to photobucket then linked to here.... i didnt reduce it... any ideas how to override default behaviour I changed one but it seems photo bucket shrinks em
When you're in "Upload to Photobucket", go to the bottom of that box and click the link that says "Customize your upload options". Click on the recommended 1024x768, save, then upload your pics again and link them here as you did. My photo of the fire is set at 800x600 which is a good size, but I've changed it back to the 1024x768.
Some pics What a great weekend. Definitely a welcoming home of what use to be tech day events. Surrounded by not only great company but Great Friends. All with their own piece to the puzzle of zed knowledge and or other such helpful information. Like Fires as a prime example. Huge thanks to Merci for his work on the blackening on my Silver Windscreen Surround. Very much a vast improvement. Worst case scenario is if I change my mind I can just pull back the vinyl. Great idea of a hoist and it lifted the zed without any stress at all. Wish someone saw my awesome motorcycle jump though... NO IT IS NOT A MOUND OF DIRT!!! The Bike for Legends!!! Will be sure to get some more pictures up a little later. Having a bit of trouble with them uploading at the moment for some reason. Thanks again to all that attended - it really was a fantastic weekend. Gav.... Maree Thank you Thank You Thank You! For all your generosity and hospitality once more. It really is above and beyond and so very much gratefully appreciated. Fate [TIS]
