Your car looks fantastic so don't get me wrong but the pictures aren't that good. The main thing being the light. Midday or around then is not the best time for car shots. I reckon shoot some more either earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon.

Also, if you're in remote WA (not sure about that) but if you are try and incorporate some local landscape in the pics.

Congratulations on how your car is progressing. :)

    Cheers,
    Evan.

I agree with Evan. Car looks great, pics aren't though. Angles are a bit boring, location is a bit boring & lighting isn't the best. You want soft light, either an overcast day, or around dusk/dawn.

    Great looking Z :zlove:

    Great car, Simon!

Suggestion: her beauty deserves a city landscape kind of atmosphere like skyscrapers, elite buildings and stuff as such. It doesn't match the "grafitti" background for its classy look. Even a nightshot with the camera on a tripod will do the trick... :)

    Job well done, mate...

Car is looking fantastic but the photos aren't quite doing it justice.

Just a couple more suggestions when taking photos. If your going to turn your wheels (personally I like this, do it with most of mine) you need to turn them so you see the wheel in the photo not the tyre, simple but makes a big difference.
Also try not to clip/cut out bits of the car in the frame, unless doing a nice close-up or detail shot. For example the 3rd from bottom photo looks pretty good but you've clipped the bottom of the front bar & the drivers side corner. Its also cropped pretty tight to the car, dont be afraid to have a little background.

    cheers, Tim

an 8mp camera is more than enough for what you need, I have a 2003 canon 300eos and its a 5mp camera, more pixels just means you can make the images bigger without the distortion basically.

what you need to adjust is the aperture of the camera so that you get a greater depth of field because for a pro shot you dont want to have the front bar in focus and a fuzzy rear section, you want the whole shot in focus, like f/8 or f/22, depends if you want the background in focus and how far away the background is from the car.

Great shots though, Im loving the front bar and the colour of your Z.

Such a nice zed, deserves a pro shoot, PM Ross Wilson and he'll look after you. You'll notice the difference in pics straight away.
By the way, do you need sun glass's to polish it?:D

Stand back more, get the whole car centrally in the shot and avoid direct sunlight. Glare ruins it. The car itself I believe to definitely believe to be calendar worthy. :) I also suggest removing the front number plate for the shoot.
