The car has a bit better midrange and is 10x smoother acceleration wise now. Before it was missing at idle and now runs/idles perfectly. Just waiting for the major service to come up, thats when the real suprise comes out ;)

OH GOD! NOT THIS QUESTION! ANYTHING BUT THIS QUESTION!

No, drivetrain loss is not a percentage.

A percentage is an easy way to determine drivetrain loss, although it is not the most accurate way of gauging RWKW from Flywheel KW or Flywheel KW from RWKW.

Some will say otherwise, but this is the

Got my car dyno'd at UAS today for the first time. Didn't want to post this, but John made me promise I would...

    300REDX:
    - Apexi pod filter
    - Apexi megaphone mufflers
    - Unknown ECU and tune (not stock or nistune)

    - J-Spec N/A
    - 144,500 K's showing
    - ~180 PSI compression results on each cylinder
    - 98 pump fuel

I was very unhappy at first... first run was 112.something (camera phone video through window). After adjusting ignition timing we got another 5 kilowatts on the 4th and final run. I was really expecting (hoping for?) more.

John thinks it's my mufflers that're flatlining my top-end. The curve is good, and it doesn't just drop off. They're Apexi Megaphones, came with the car. Don't know a thing about them.

Going to come back with extractors fitted and high flow mufflers. and the tune/ecu analyzed. then, if I don't break 130, i'll be pissed.

Ignition timing made a noticeable difference to the feel of the car on the way home - felt less powerful at first, but it was more that it came on smoother. rough grunt is easy to feel I guess.

My A'pexi megaphones are pretty much straight through lol, they don't provide much muffling. Have you got centre mufflers?

stock piping? Isn't that restrictive for top end power? 2.5" mandrel bent should help with your quest for power...

Chances are that ecu you have is just a blanket chip and could be causing you to LOSE power. Before NIStune my car had one of these chips and would run rich as anything.
