Heater problems 1990 Z32

    :confused:The heater in my 1990 Z32 dose not seem to be working i set the temp but no heat, all i get is cold air out of the top vents.Dose anyone have any suggestions of what i need to check for.The thing i do know is that the air con needs gassed would this effect the heater operation.:zlove:

    Check to make sure your heater hasnt been bypassed

    and if it has

    dont reserect it without being very confident as you may end up with a soggy mess in the cabin. They are bypassed as the heater core under the dash usually fail, if this is the case it usually requires the dash to come out to change it however a few people say they have done it without pulling the dash.

    No the the heater has not been bypassed.

    Probably the door actuators inside the dash... Bit of a pain to fix.

    Try the diagnostics noted in the service manual.
