Hey, does anyone know if this is the same as the Greddy rear wing? I've seen the two in pictures, but not both of them on cars. They appear to look similar. But I was unsure. Could anyone clear up this for me? Thanks
FAIL! No the Aero wing is not the same. Similar in that style of spoiler but different. The GReddy slopes back more, and probably isn't as high. I used to have the proper GReddy one, didn't like it and was quick to give it away before I knew it was genuine. Oh well, cost me $25. And here is the F40 just for more comparison. And here's the one Boost Junkie was thinking of. The F1 wing for Z's!
If I couldnt have got THIS wing for my car. I wouldnt have had one. AND IT ACTUALLY WORKS. Sets quite a bend at 150klms+ at a track day. The wings airfoil is shaped correctly with a thin trailing edge unlike the fake ones.
What wing is that on your zed Tekky? I really like the look of that. It's pretty much the same style im looking to achieve. with the brazilian and a rear wing similar to that.
I am not 100% sure but I think its a BOMEX. It came to me used so I didnt get to see where it came from.
Ah yeah, It looks like the bomex one, so i'll take your word for it Any idea what the UAS aero spolier looks like on a zed? It looks similar style to the bomex one... if not the same?.. I've been considering buying one from UAS but.. I just don't know what it'd look like.
The thing that seals it as far as I am concerned is that the garbage ones seem to be almost verticle at the back and look horrible. I cant really see the UAS ones properly. Try to get a pic from the side so you can see if it sweeps back at the trailing edge. The nice ones rake backwards like the pic of the Greddy one, but the Greddy one has a squared off trailing edge which is a bit crap IMO. It should be sharpish Look around for a BOMEX one. I think its the best looking F40 style wing by far.
i think i have exactly the same wing, its just sitting in my living room at the moment needing to be painted and fitted. I have a very 'unique' wing on my z at the moment...so one way or another i'll have a 'f-40 style' wing up for sale soon.

I always thought it to be GReddy. Same as in the full GReddy kit and I was sure that's what Bones told me. What's the GReddy wing then? Go on, put it on.
Got one of these in the shed..... Dont know what brand wing combo it is tho 2 piece setup, top wing can be used wiout the lower section. Kingy
We actually started off with a Jappy wing, which had lots of bumps and ripples which we fixed and ours is much better quality. We also added a gerny strip for more down force, them made amould and they are probalby the best for function.
