This will only be worth doing if there is a lot of interest (I think there will be)

The side pods are the plastic holders that your climate control unit and headlight unit mounts into.
You know, the ones that the screw holes are always broken where the hazard switch goes through.

Can have them landed here for sale @ $38 each + shipping Australia wide.. Compare this to say $55 from Nissan or TTZ pretty good savings.

Will be looking at bringing in as many as needed so let me know asap so I can get the ball rolling. Would rather bring too many than not enough.

Please tell me if you would need LH or RH or both.

    Cheers guys

    Interested in both

Is the LH pod the digital read-out version or the dial-knob-like-version?

I think the plastic pods will be the same either way. Its the actual plasctic holder that the untis screw into from underneath.

Will be placing order within a week or so then wait for shipping. So lets say towards end July landed here. Comes by sea freight to save on end price.

This might need to be clarified ....

I bought a LHS pod from Nissan late last year (yeah, $55 odd dammit!) and was told by the dealer that the Aus-spec and J-spec items had different part numbers. The J-spec unit I purchased is p/n 25267-40P00. I am only quoting what the dealer told me - he could have been wrong.

That is the correct part number. I assumed that aus spec would be the same but if they ARE different, then everyone please note that the ones I am getting are J-SPEC .
    Thanks

i'll definately be in for a left side

dunno if i need a right or not, so for now put me down only for a left

    great work john!!!

another winner would be the passenger side electric window moulding thing - the bit that is always broken and floats up in the air around the button

Thanks Matt, I always thought it was the door trim that was the problem there and not the actual switch surround. Correct me if I'm wrong. Mine started doing the same thing but the surround was still in good nic.

Just posted in your other thread....

But put me in for a left - sick of the hazard swtich moving, and the A/C control not sitting right!
Can you do it cheaper for pickup as i won't need it posted (its good to be local!)

    Cheers
