Stolen from Lalor plaza shopping centre at 17:50. After an unsuccessful attempt earlier in the day. They returned, put the car into neutral and pushed the car using a white Nissan Stagea Let me or Mill Park police know if you have any info Cheers - Keen
Assholes smashed the passenger side window, then smashed the ignition barrel and tore out the alarm and other things. Had a separate immobiliser fitted so they weren't gonna start it. They returned a few hours later and pushed it out. Such determination. Just give up guys!
sry to hear dude the best sercuity is a club lock in my opinion, anyways hopefully the car is ok and easily repairable.
Glad it’s back. Have to agree with @ADAMZX -alarms etc are good and a requirement for your insurance coverage, but never underestimate the value of a visual deterrent that will encourage them to move on and find an easier target...
Get a 2 way alarm with a LCD remote... That way you can hear alarm on your remote and see if your door is open, car started, etc... or shut it down remotely... Helps if you are close to the car so you can run towards it... and bashed the bastards...
I hope the car is not to bad. I have a device that I fit over the clutch - brake and accelerator and it locks them all together with a plate that goes against the floor also. When in place when pushing any pedal even if they could move they would all move together so yep clutch in brake on when accelerator pushed so you are going nowhere. It takes seconds to fit or remove and once the lock is on it's at the fire wall side so can not be accessed to cut or remove without the key. Cost me a few bucks to weld up and no mother------ can get my car and if they tried I would have enough time to put some lead in their arse.
Car is back. body damage. Passenger Window Amp & Head Unit Contents of glove box and centre console Alarm system . Damage & missing trim etc Boot contents, spare tyre, tools etc OK, so where to go from here? I'll try and start it tomorrow. If it starts then I'll begin to look for quotes.
Very sorry to see that. Bunch of fucking dogs. How did they make away with the car if they couldn't start it?
See my first posts. It was pushed using a stolen station wagon. Causing damage to the rear bumpers. Fucking no respect.
I thought that's how they got it out and maybe onto a trailer or something? Surely they didn't just push the car for extended distances using the same car, someone would have noticed.
They must've pushed to a house close by. I can't believe no one stopped them at any point during the day. They had multiple attempts and must have looked so dodgy.
GPS Trackers lads. They'll continue to work for 48 hours after the batteries been cut off. Unless it's stored underground or in a container, you'll find it, and it costs a few hundred bucks. With these cars they're hitting you for a) ease of theft (lazy uneducated thieves) and joy ride b) strip for parts or c) personal.
Or alternative measure is a Fing Big Python inside the car that only you can pickup. Sorry to hear mate, but if they want it, they will take it. It's just the way it is in todays society. Doesn't look to bad in the photos. Auto Electrian, Repacement Window & Interior bits that I'm sure someone on this site may have spare sitting in their garage/shed & a bit of Panelbeating work (Repair & Paint) Alternatively you could part it out & buy another Zed, it may work out cheaper in the long run. Best of Luck with it, no matter which way you decide to go. Cheers Keza
That is so shit! So sorry to hear about this God they were bloody determined, I wonder why..who would go to such lengths!
No matter what anyone says, no amount of Good Wishes will make you feel better(but it will be some comfort, once you have your car back on the road). Bite your bottom lip and start the rebuild! If any of us can help you, you have only to ask!(It's at times like this that you will see what a great group of people inhabit this site). Lloyd(CHILI)Chilcott
