Sorry to hear that, I hat this car stealing crap. I have had 2 motor bikes stolen in the past and it sucks big time. Will keep an eye out over here in WA in case it ends up here. I hope it wasn't another Z owner stealing for parts.
Yes all 3 but it didn't stop them! Located the car at 3am and its basically a pile of ash. Low life scums and it was near jimboomba of all places! My heart is so shattered right now
Scum pieces of S***! Sorry to hear mate I hate hearing stuff like this...makes me so worried! Time to put a hidden switch in also that kills power to the ECU I think... How the heck do they get past the alarm and the immobiliser???
Far out that sucks balls Clayton, I only got to see this car once in the flesh and it would have been a great purchase for someone - sadly that is not to be and our small community has lost another fine Z.
Have police taken any prints from the break and enter? They might eventually catch the bastards if they did.
Yes they've dusted the house down where they got in but it looks like they didn't get any good enough prints! There is pretty much nothing left of the car so I don't like there chances to catch the scum.
Shit news These cars seem to be stolen way too often. Sounds like chances are slim, but I hope they get whoever was responsible.
Live in Bardon house burgled 7th at 8.00 am I live not far from Taringa/ Toowong in Bardon, they broke into my house on the morning of the 7th and stole all the remotes and keys. The house security, garage, cars keys and remotes plus IPad, mobile phone and other items. They got into the garage with the remote and stole my wife's Hyundai i35 just 4 months old, they couldn't get my Zed as it had steering lock and imobilizer on it. The police have recovered the Hyundai with some damage, waiting for forensics to finish with the car. The two people were of an Aboriginal nature, she is a 16 year old girl known to police and they have her address, she and her male mate have done this before according to the police. Probadly get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again Warning told to me by the police is don't leave any keys or remotes near front door or on kitchen bench. Sorry to hear about your Zed, just glad mine didn't go and I am still concerned about the Hyundai as my wife emotionally doesn't want it back after someone else had driven the car. Wasn't racially prejudiced but am now.
Is it time to go back to the 80's or has someone found a push button start that incorporates biometric thumb reader? http://www.asianwolf.com/asianwolf-keypad-starter-kill-for-car-alarms.html Feels like vintage tech.
Truly sorry to hear this........ I hope and pray for karma to come around for these bastds that took your pride and joy.......... I also hope your house and personal possessions fared better in the criminal act, it's bad enough you have suffered the loss of your joy without your own home being invaded, ransacked and pillaged. I trust and hope things go your way in the near future, in what anyone would find to be, a truly difficult and distressing time. JC
That's cool... But too bling and noticeable. I'm going to fit a hidden button that cuts the power to the fuel pump So it'll be protected by immobilizer, alarm, steering lock, and hidden switch :zlove: I know what you mean by your wife not wanting to take the car back MIKEA. Mum was telling me a story when her HQ Monaro was broken into. She had a steering jigga on there but it was bent to all hell! The smell of cigarette smoke, cigarette butts and an empty beer can left in thre.... She felt like it was rapped she sold it after that.
