Long time reader, short term poster :p....

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to purchasing a new exhaust manifold gasket for an 89-96 model Z32 Please

Have spoken to Global Auto and Supercheap with no success. Am trying hard to avoid Nissan itself. Wondering if anyone knows where I can get one on the "urgent" list?

    GOOD MONEY PAID :p.

    Any help would be appreciated

And big hello to all those people I don't get to chat to on here anymore. [TIS]

Try Repco, but I don't like your luck. Nissan don't have any either, Benny tried to get some 2 weeks ago.

    Shiz n Gigz...

Nah. It's gotta come off as we believe there to be a leak there somewhere causing that annoying ticking noise.

Will make some more calls in the hope someone somewhere has them.

Caz is on the list to be called.

    Any other direction?

    Fate.

Yeah, curious about this ticking noise coming from the exhaust mani...??

I'd go straight to Caz mate. Otherwise order from Coz if you can wait as there are none in Nissan Australia atm.

He is correct. An exhaust manifold leak on one cylinder can often sound like ticking.

I got sucked in once looking for something else but it turned out to be a manifold gasket.

I got some for my NA from ACL Gaskets, I think they are even based in Brisbane, they might be worth a go.

$25 each for the NA ones from memory.

NA ones will do fine. ACL are based at Brendale on the northside.

OK, part number JC926 is what you want then, you should be able to get them through Repco if you can't get them direct from ACL.

I've got spare OEM exhaust manifold gaskets, part No. 14036-30P00, bought for a TT engine.

Let me know if you're stuck, ASAP so I can get them from VIC to you before the weekend.

Use genuine only Sean or you will be doing it again later. Your engine was the last one I used non oem gaskets in and willnever use them again, lesson learnt. Order them from nissan, should ony take a day or 2 to get them in.

I bought mine from caz, as at the time Nissans in Adelaide didnt have any, and with my trade discount, they were still around $2 more then Caz.

    Listen to Eric

No shortcuts, you know better, been stung before.
Order genuine from Coz. They are half the price compared to Nissan Australia.

    Steering...

    haha SHIZNIT.

Completely forgot bout my steering issue Greg. Haven't driven the Zed in a couple of weeks. Am hoping that a simple wheel allignment will fix the problem. :) We'll find out in a weeks time I guess. Wanted to get the bigger problems fixed first so as not to be driving around without a cylinder.

    Cheers for reminding me.
