..hehe yeah we all know who the winner was even before the lights turned Green..! (especially my pretty stock NA) Turned off the freewy at Warrigal Rd next to one of these Exotic Beasts, grinning my silly head off.... all it took was the same sort of face from the other driver and a green light. Any way, by the time I hit 3rd gear he was already up the hill past the Chaddy turnoff hehehe but geez what a car it is eh...!!? His was Orange btw!
As a matter of interest, I actually raced against a few Lotus Exige S' at Sandown a couple of years ago in my mighty NA. They kicked my arse though, extremely nimble and they all had wet weather tyres as well. Amazingly fast little critters, i'd have one if i had the cash.
TT Vs Exige S Raced one at Wakefield a few years back, was pretty quick with 181kw, 930kg and 0 - 100 in 3.9. Out of the corners it was fairly even but towards the top of the straight near 200 I was catching quick. Vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO9ntwj4NMw
I was gonna mention that vid... couldnt remember who it was tho, thought it was Fleet for some reason, either way:zlove:
Phwoar, these things are beasts, bloody animals around corners and through the hills I'd say, they seem like a real drivers car. Gimme' one of these over a 370Z any day.
My ZX vs Lotus....this happened bout 2 months ago. Was some NRL rugby player apparently. So He prob weighed more then the car.... lawl! Anyway he stood no chance. Off the lights nor rolling. although they look nice IMO. Would be interesting to see a lotus vs ZX round a track/corners....
Around corners, an Exige would tear a new hole in any car out there man, that's their forte, what they're built for. Absolutely no comparison between a Z and an Exige, one's a 1500kg+ Grand Tourer, the other is a sub-900kg hardcore sports car designed for quick successions of corners. ie: Mountain Passes. Guessing an Exige would own a highly modded Z on a technical track that didn't have big straights. I might be the new owner of an S2000 by the end of the year, can't wait
Completely agree, corner destroyers. S2 Elise's are getting cheaper too, around the $40k mark. They are just crying out for a GT28RS to be strapped to the side Hmm, I want another job now S2000, nice little car those, need more POWAH though
