Hi. I'm interested in signal light ducts as well (outer lights.) One question though, for either product, how do these mount? There looks to be no screws or clips of any sort in the pics. Wouldn't it be easy to steal then?

I've got my ducts (they look good :D:D:D), but won't be fitting them for a while. I need to get the Z back under my roof again, and I also need to ensure I have alternate indicators (currently has Aus-specs where the fogs would be). Also need to work out what colour to paint them, I have the f/g ducts not the c/f. Possibly going with a gunmetal shade, and may colour code a few other external parts the same way.

However, see the following links for what a couple of TT.Net guys did:

    Hi Charles,

I'm after a set of the foglight ducts, though I do have several questions:

    • With reo-bar intact, won't this essentially prevent air from going anywhere, thereby increasing resistance? If I understand correctly, the reo bar would then need to be modified to suit the exit hole. The links provided in the posts before mine detail installation of the ducts, but it also shows modified reo bars with foggy mounts intact, but with some sort of fabrication between the two that I suppose would suit FMIC installation.

The installation threads both advise that, in this case, the foggy mounts are removed to make way for the ducts. This is easily accomplished with the setup pictured above, but would be impossible with 1 piece OEM reo bar. Ideally, I'd like to keep my reo bar intact - fabricating a partial- reo bar won't be feasible as I'd rather use the stock mounting options.

    • How far back does the ducting go? If I did eventually choose to cut up the reo bar to accommodate the duct, would the ducting go all the way to the reo bar, or would there be a gap between the reo bar and the duct?

That's it.. for now, at least :)

    Cheers

    Hi Mike,

Do you have any pics of your installation handy? I'm interested to see how you modified your reo bar (if it's still functional) to suit the ducts.

Is the set reversable? I got an FMIC on order so I wont need hoses to SMIC area and wondering if I can switch sides and put em upside down so that they can direct air to radiator and allow a bit of downforce at the same time? I cant tell from the pics :confused:

    Hi Joe,

I only have pictures of the Ducts after the installation unfortunately. In all honestly, I can't remember what I did with the Reo Bar to suite their purpose, I can double check if needed (as I am removing my Front Bar this weekend anyway) & let you know.

Non-reversible, due to their shape. I also tried this when test fitting mine.

    Cheers,
    Mike

I cant tell from the pics but I thought it was angled down and toward the smic/brakes. So if i wanted to change how it was used.. angled up and toward radiator.. well, indirect gains are always welcome...

    Hi Jared

The installation pics suggest that the funnel is level, despite appearances. (I could be wrong, as I have the habit of misjudging pictures :p.) Redirection of air was done external to the product, it seems. In any case, any gains besides the obvious cooling would be neglible at best.
