    for those on here that dont know this

    compressor is around 45mm inducer
    and turbine exducer around 46mm

    these cores are in between GT28R and gt28rs but closer to gt28rs

    Yep, that's what i'm working it out to be also. Almost a GT28RS core in stock sized housings. Sounds like fun to me!!! :D

    We also be able to make them into GT2871 spec and GT3071 spec. Just not sure how laggy it would be.

    We've high flowed this CA T25 turbo just for a bit of trail. So you get the idea.

    if you are talking about putting those cores into the small housings ,dont bother with gt3071 too big (dont think you can even fit them)..
    the biggest gt2871 cores you should use is the 48trim compressor (49mm)wheel any bigger is just more lag and no more top end

    Obviously you need to re-engineer the Air gaps to make sure they are big enough to throw out air. and if there's not enough materials to suit you can always add more materials to the housing. So Yea~ more lag, more torque, more power.

    what options do you have for hiflowng RB25 (R33) T3's? price and power?

    The 2IU Stamped R33 T3 turbo can be high flowed to a max of 240rwkws. It will cost you $880 including braided oil feeding line. If you can get us the OP6 Rear housings off some R34s then that can be high flowed to produce upto 270rwkws.

    Yes. Made 240rwkws each at 22.4PSI in a 1.8L. I'm pulling out my 3L out of 300ZX this weekend. I will post up as we work through.

    i thought you said these turbos were 18psi max?

    we need some results for the VG, how much power they produce on a 1.8L has no relevance here.

    there is only 1 guy i know who has these turbos with a 300zx, and it didnt do too badly when i was in the car...but saying that a dyno sheet would tell all....i wish i still had his number, bloody lost it:(

    he had more than stock, felt alot more, and he had them roughly for about 1year(ish) now...but seeing i havent been able to keep in contact with him not too sure what he did...i think he got the turbos that are rated 320hp, cant really remember, but it was quick, but if your happy with stock power i think you should go their base model turbo atr25 and leave it at that...they are like $1500(ish) for the pair and you need braided lines but hey its alot cheaper than other brand turbos but seeing i havent seen any other members that have had them for a long time no one can speak about how they last...another source of info is nissansilvia.com they have info. about hypergear there too, just search it

    I'm sorry but this is very relevant. It has shown the max efficiency of one single turbocharger. Also have a check to see What sort of turbo can produce 240rwkws on CA18det engines. They are GTRS equivalent turbos.

    18psi is just a safety recommendation. The max efficiency of them is 22.4psi.

    If these turbos are rated at 280,300 and 320hp what would you rate a single factory turbo as?, just looking for a guide as to how much of an up grade these are. Also is there a down side to getting the factory turbos hi-flowed if the housing are in good condition instead of buying new? I thought hi-flowing the factory ones would have been alot cheeper, but i guess not.

    The key point of actually doing high flow is that every thing would bolt back to where they were with no modifications required. The cost to reprofile your old housings is about the same as buying new housings with the right profile in it. On top of that we still have to build a brand new T28 CHRA which works out to be same.

    Your factory T25 is capable of 220HP each. But they will not last with high boost.

    I have been following this thread closely for a while. I think I will be using Hypergear to Hi flow my stockies when I'v saved a bit more cash. Would 300 - 350 Rwkw be realistic with supporting mods from your 280 Hp type Hi flowed turbos? I'm keen to get to 300 rwkw or a little more but I'm looking to minimise lag as much as psossible.

    i think their 300 or 320hp profile turbos will get you around that figure and if you want to minimize lag then get it to have ball bearings...hope that helps

    Cheers. I think I read somewhere in this thread Hypergear can use ball bearing upgrades on a hi flowed stockie. My only concern is I'v been told the ball bearings wear out significantly faster than bush bearings. You wouldnt know if this is true?
