steering wheel

can anyone help me please i have been defected by the poepoe for an ilegal steering wheel need a stock standard one asap

You can be defected for an aftermarket steering wheel if your car originally was fitted with air-bags. Not allowed to remove an airbag stearing wheel.
Also in some states it is illegal to have a hard centred steering wheel. I spoke to a forum member djozzie who is a policemen and he said I'd have no problems with my aftermarket wheel. Its a momo and the centre is metal so I was worried about getting defected for it. The car came with it when I bought it and I didn't want to have to spend the money to get a stock one and removing the boss kit and all that.

Unfortunately when you drive cars like ours, you don't have to be doing anything "naughty" to get pulled over.

 

its not stock standard,,, it came with the car, i need a normal 300zx steering wheel

 

you will get a yellow if your steering wheel doesnt have a horn /horn button that actually works

 

Try Z Cars or CRESTA... I think CRESTA has one in stock.
