It seems unfinished how Winfactory stopped the return feed where it is.
(It was probably for catering for the throttle cover users)

I've been humming over and over whether to make a 35cm Hardline from the rails return port/boss with a 90 degree bend on the hardlines firewall end.

..But Pirtek threw out my leftover 8an!!!! and will want $100 p/h in doing my lassst 90 degree bend.

    Update

So- I got a completely rebuilt power steering pump and all new lines to go with it, no more fluid leaks for me .. Yay!

The new actuators and brackets are on, had slight Fitment issues, apparently Australian and US supplied actuators differ in angle which leave the vac line routed towards the rails and/or right into the block.
    Not a hard fix though.

Parts ordered to finish the dual fuel tank install.
Just going to do a quick inspection of the clutch discs then add the fuel rail and injectors and the engine bay lines.

Trying to grab some pics :)

Haha thanks for looking out for me,
That wouldn't surprise me, our actuator brackets were a little different too

Ignore the attack with electrical tape .. Paranoid about insulation particularly near the loom extension cluster I made #whoops.

Didn't you know having 2 fuel tanks is the newest performance mod?

Haha - more like shit typo on my part

I mean dual in tank pump set up

So what is your fuel setup going to look like? New lines all round? Size? 2 in tank pumps tee'd in together for 1 feel line?

I'll 100% confirm once I talk to Ben.

    But at this stage,

    2 in tank pumps,
Merged into a single -8, all new -8 line to filter>engine bay>winfactory rail and id1300 injectors.
    Return to FPR1200 turbo smart
    -6 return to tank.

Ideally it should have a surge tank otherwise I'd need to always keep it 60+% full however at this stage there isn't one planned.

If you were going surge swirl you wouldn't bother with 2 walbro in tank.
You'd use a stock tt pump as the pickup and an inline on the swirl.
    Cos it works.

That's why "ideally" it should have one.

I'd use a walbro 485 and a inline as I'd want the higher capacity.

Sadly budget and time wasn't permitting me to play around with how / where to fabricate and set one up.
I'll look at that next year at some point

    Update

So engine is all back in

Fitted up larger actuators and also did a little compressor modification.

Larger 62mm billet Throttle bodies installed,
Plenum match ported to suit and leading runners worked to try down size some of the sharp right hand pathway on the leading runners.

Some sneaky little ID1300cc injectors tucked away down here
    [IMG]

The version 2 winfactory rail, being made from alloy. Had slight alterations. The return end is no longer a fixed part of the rail and is a Fitting now.
-6AN fits however with my new fuel system. The -8AN proved to be an issue.
Some plenum webbing needed to be removed as did the pivoting throttle guide on the linkage as on WOT it contacted lightly the fuel rail.

Looks good once it's all fitted up however
    [IMG]
May be able to see in the next one the slight bit removed for clearance.

Next up the always painful to fit 2.5" breather mods
Featuring conical expansion compressor outlet pipes.
The intake has custom 2.5" pipes, retains stock accordion which are close to 2.5 anyway and the piping to the pods comes in close to 2.5 also so not too worried there.
Notched rail to give more clearance
    [IMG]
Gets reallllly tight around the radiator
But fit with no notching or alterations
    [IMG]

***note. Some may notice in the next picture, that there is a big opening in the front of the car with the AC removed. A lot more room for activities and should run significantly cooler.***

All said and done, it's changed my theme in the bay a little.
Got some last touches to fix up before tuning.
I'll get some pics of set up ASAP. But it's nice and stealthy :) 2nd pump sits very low in the tank.

Plazmaman IC adapted to 2.5" inlet and outlet to march the rest of the pipework and throttle bodies.

    Let the breathing commence

So on a reasonably hot day in the afternoon.
The car made 270@28>24/25 psi. This seemed odd so a quick backpressure test showed 5psi of pressure in the exhaust.
    My exhaust is
    3" dumps
    3" test pipes
    Cats
    Reducing to 2.5" to mufflers

When removing the cats and and rear section and running open 3" dumps it was recorded as 2psi.

Substantial flow increase or resistance decrease pending how you look at it.

Sadly, funds and time ran out for me to rectify this issue

The car has presently made 495rwkw @30psi dropping down to 25 with the cats and rear exhaust in place.
Good pick up- 25kw for 2psi and some timing.

The GFB BOV (8yr old) I have also potentially could be leaking at higher boost levels. That will be checked tomorrow.

Sadly I don't have the chart or timing table yet. I'll try gather all of that tomorrow.
The exhaust issue fixed should see it push over 500rwkw comfortably and the boost fall off not be as exagerated.

Real test will be difference in trap and ET this weekend :)
