NA / TT ECU differences (Nistune)

If I got a Nistune board fitted to my NA ECU - fuel/ign maps changed to standard TT spec. Will there be any unforeseen problems?

My thoughts are that the 3 stage fuel pump on the TT chassis with an NA ecu might be a problem.

    Can anyone confirm?

Its just more convenient to get the Nistune fitted to my spare ECU and then keep the stock TT one as a spare (spare TT ecu more useful to me than spare NA ecu)

Shouldn't be an issue. I've used a TT Chip in an NA ECU with no problems.

    FPCU in place or bypassed?

Didn't touch it. I used to use it as a temp exchange unit while I did a PROM extract and socket of the PCB.

If you don't add some turbos, change your injectors and fuel pump to a TT spec then I think you will have some problems.

Seeing as my car is a factory TT I dont think any of that is an issue :)

Then all you lose is control of safety boost solenoids and run your tt pump at only the higher 2 settings. I'd bypass the fpcu tho.

Read the OP. He wanted to know if a Nistune board with TT Maps would work on an N/A ECU.

    No prize for second place.
