http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-300ZX-1990/SSE-AD-2376461 This looks stunning. The only things I would change are the steering wheel, wheels and rear bar but other than that, it looks very nicely modded. Very clean. Just goes to show how good these cars can look when not neglected.
Stock as in the engine? I would hope whether an engine has been modified or not isn't the only thing people look at when buying a zed. If the engine is in perfect condition and stock while the rest of the car has been rebuilt from the ground up, it could still command a decent price. Ill admit for that money though, I would rather build my own so I can put my personal touches on it.
LOL, that's Simons car................. I may go and see it and get back my 2 cast coolant pipes I loaned him on the proviso he replace them. THEN he sent me an SMS saying "There is no proof I gave them to him" 2 months later when I needed them replaced. THEN blocked me on his phone. Asshole............... Hope he spent 40K on it. So he gets reamed when it gets sold for 10K You should have seen what a basket case it was when he got it. He repainted every single panel at different times. Looks good from afar but far from good. Have a look back and you can see the thread where he dyed the tweed door cards console and seats black. Those wheels where the ones I sold him that came off the NA he bought off me for his wife.
LOL, add a 100K to it and you would be close. Amazing what a wound back/replaced speedo can do to the value of a car. You can polish a turd and make it look nice but at the end of the day its still a turd.
The 4 seater was a pile of shite, I had the poor bastard who bought it off him here ages ago with a starter motor problem. I loaned him an old starter motor to get rebuilt and asked him to bring back the dodgy one. Last time I ever saw him. The whole drivers side sill panel was squashed and it was covered up with the Stillen skirts so you couldn't see it, Also the underneath of the car had been banged up badly with all the rails squashed. Every single bit of bling and extra stuff bolted on Simon removed and sold separate leaving the car looking like an ordinary bit of crap. Paint looked like shit with a different colour on every panel. The guy who bought it was from Warragul. He ended up crashing it a few weeks after he got it. One less 2+2 on the road.
Being Simons old car.... I wouldn't touch it, no matter how nice it looks. He is one dodgy fellow, and who knows what other dodgy things he has done to that car... especially now that he's trying to sell it.
no joy in this. "This seller (Sam:rofl has not provided any contact numbers" taken from the add. For presumably the reasons above, as outlined by graham.
