VIC Parting out 1989 300ZX Twin Turbo manual 2+2

Been parting out my 300ZX. Was originally an Auto.

5 speed manual conversion (missing gear knob) $1000

TT engine needs rebuild minus turbos and coil packs $500
I rebuilt this a few months before, but a leaky water hose at the back and its buggered. knew i should have removed them! Spent $500 on the heads alone. Im happy to split this engine into parts if there is interest.

Turbos, were working fine before engine break down. $400

Headlights $50 each
Door trims $50 pair (twead removed, and holes for tweaters)
Targa tops $100 each
Wheels $25 each
Twead Passenger seat (manual adjust) $20
Lower dash parts (normally twead but covered badly in blue vinyl) $40

Front bumper gone, as have instrument cluster, radio surround, ECU and a few other bits here and there.

would you sell the inlet cam gears off the engine...what type (stock, JUN etc, and where there noisy?

 

i'll split the engine (block, heads, inlet etc) if it doesnt sell soon.

no strange noises from top end. will places pics up showing condition when I split the engine up (i'd like to this weekend)

 

Do you have compression figures for the engine? Is the head gasket blown?

 

cylinder 6 was lower than the rest. It was a few years ago now not sure of exact figure.

 

Separating manual parts. Gearbox, clutch master cylinder and shifter sold pending payment.

Exhaust, rear hatch, driver side targa are sold.

Have the engine apart. Doesnt seem to be any water in the cylinders. Headgasket doesnt look busted badly anywhere. except for a break near cylinder 4. Heads are in great condition.

Will take offers for engine parts, or $500 motor minus coils and turbos.

now that the engine is apart ...how much for the inlet cam gears?

 

have you got the driver side power window regulator?

 

How much of this is left? im interested in the upper rad support, windscreen and brake master cylinder.

I have a couple of radiators and the top brackets, or do you mean cutting out the front of the car where the radiator sits?

windscreen is there and is good.

how about the plastic clips that hold the window to the regulator? (yellow ones mounted on bottom of glass) one of mine snapped on the weekend
