Its a pity photos cant tell the whole story. 10 secs close up and you can see WHAT IT REALLY IS.

I will try to get some more pics up tomorrow. Havent had enough time to get it down off the hoist the last few days.

You have a nice Z there Graham. Interesting choice of interior trim; I gather it's not as bright in the flesh? Really suits the 90's style of the Z.
Rego/insurance justification is partly the reason I'm selling my Z, however, I have second thoughts every time I look at her.
P.s. Some big ass houses in your street!

The interior looks better in person. Looks sort of overwhelming on photos but its actually not. Before I rebuilt it. This zed won first prize at the Gilgandra zed fest in the early 2000's primarily because of the interior.

The guy I bought it from was the web developer for TTZ and Simon used to pay him in zed parts for his web work. It has a LOT of TTZ parts on it which was the reason I bought it in 2005.

BTW ths car has ONLY had high end Synthetic oil in it since I have had it. The engine inside the cam covers is spectacularly clean. I had a relook at it 2 years ago when I had to reseal the covers after a leak. It is changed after every track day it has been on, so essentially every 2000 klms since rebuild.

We sit up high on our hill looking down on Melbourne. View is spectacular, other houses in the street are very nice as well. :)

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

Jesus Graham, that's just such a brilliant example of a Zed. That thing should be advertised as an "As New" Z32 mate.
Such tasteful mods and as we all know how experienced and particular you are, the buyer can be guaranteed a trouble free car in this investment.

If i didn't already have $20k+ spent on the Zed sitting in my own shed right now - and even still awaiting a new engine, i'd ditch it and buy this mate! Just love it!

If anyone is interested in this Zed, don't be concerned paying this money for a 20 year old car, as it's in better condition than most 2 year old cars! Good luck with the sale mate, i only hope the buyer is worthy of owning this magic example of a Zed! :zlove:

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It really is a lovely car.

Now if I win Tattslotto this week I wont have the need to sell it.

I cant wait to go full steam ahead on the track car. As JP said to me the other day. GET THE RACE CAR DONE. KEEPS YOU YOUNG.

    Suspect he is right. :D

you sure you want to sell it? after all that hard work , that thing is one good clean zed , and very hard to come by i must add , but i guess if the time has come , the time has come , i was thinking of selling mine as well. but then i changed my mind very fast.

good luck and i hope someone in Vic gets a hold of this beast .

one way its good for me because then i can take your race car around Philip island and show YOU what it can do ( just telling it how it is ) :D:D

    beauty and logic don't resell

    beauty and logic don't resell.

    1... beautiful looking car.
2... a lot of time, money, and effort to get it this far.
3... to build your own from a common market car will cost you significantly more.

So it is logically to save all that time, money, and effort by buying this car... but honestly we won't.

This is not low balling you as I wish we could get back even a quarter of what we have spent on these cars, but we can't. The sad reality of fact is, even at $12k you maybe waiting a very very long time for a buyer.
Let's be honest with ourselves and myself. Those who have the coin to pay for this car would be older, probably with teenage kids, a wife car, a daily driver, and possibly their own beautiful zed. The younger buyer well for that much money they car get a car a lot less younger than 21 years old. Though they will buy a cheap entry level crappy zed and repair bill after repair bill after personalization outstrip the figure you are asking.

Imho, seriously think long and hard, then think again... as in a few years you may regret selling your zed for the small coin it was worth to you.

P.s. I wish I too could win lotto so I could buy a big shed and store all of the low sale value but highly invested zeds... including yours with it track rims.

  15. red32

    red32 You talkin' to me?

Jeez! $20G - and it doesn't even come with timing belt covers. And the interior - what can I say but that it's filthy. Nah, it's just a POS, obviously not been looked after!

But seriously GJ, it really is one of the top forum cars. Good luck with the sale, and I hope you don't regret it.

we paid 16.5K for mine in 2002 and a mate paid 28K for a stock TT back then, I cant believe you cant sell yours for 25K but you will hate yourself forever later dont do it borrow against your house for the racecar and in time youll know it was right not selling her

    price revision

No, but I am dropping the price.

    Price is now $15,500

I am going to sell this now. Track wheels and tyres are no longer included.

I need my garage space back and the money to finish the race car.
