Not when we're trying to drop the engine in... but yes it does clear the rack sitting in there :)
We made some prototype engine mounts out of some MDF and hot glue today, now Chris (ezzupturbo) is gonna make them outta steel :D

and I'm gonna throw this question out there again since no one answered... if I get a flywheel spacer CNCed, should I get it balanced? If so I will make the dxf a bit thicker

I didn't bother with mine. It is quite small, symetrical and close to the centre of the fly. She'll be right :p

Painted the top side of the plenum today with some VHT engine enamel. I can see a few paint runs :(

I'm gonna sand the red off the Nissan logo like people do with the calipers, should look good I think :D:zlove:

Engine mounts should be done by the weekend :)

You should get Chris to cut and shut your thermostat housing outlet thing. It will foul the bonnet otherwise.

The whole friggin thing fouls the bonnet :p Did you do this to yours as well? I might have a go at it myself since it looks like I'm getting a TIG :D

    Yes, I had it done.

It fouls worse than the plenum

I would get someone who knows what they are doing to weld it. It's cast ally and has to hold hot water under pressure...

Ahh ok thanks for that Chris... It's probaby gonna be something I'll be worrying about down the line though, when we fire up the engine for its first test run I doubt I'll have a custom bonnet by then :p

what sort of power are the vh45's pushing out once tuned? also is there many aftermarket parts available for them? it would be interesting to see a low comp big turbo one....

Aiming for around 220rwkW with some proper headers and a tune (VH ECU is already Nistuned)
Not really interested in boosting it, I like my NAs :D
