I'd be getting together with others to get 3 sent on a pallet for $1400 if they did a 2+2!

Yeah I'd be keen for that, but then there's the shipping from wherever they get delivered to the other members in the group who are possibly in another state. Not sure if it'd be worth all the trouble for me personally :(

"We already have an extremely clean 2+2 waiting to be worked on, and it wouldn't take more than 1.5 months working full time on it before we have the design done.

We are definitely making a 2+2 version."

he's quoting from a Twinz post on one of the yanky forums where they were asked what was happening with the 2+2 version.

    now you tell us !:D

but considering the amount of hours and prep its still going to cost a fair bit to make just couple of these anyway, if you are making a whole new bumper/diffuser .
adding/molding a diffuser to the stock bumber is a cheaper option.

As above I cut and paste that from one of the twinz posts on tt.net....

I will be interested to see what the bottom line is when ours turn up, not cheap but I doubt you could build one from scratch for any less.

The mould alone would take ages.

Given the interest I think the long term aim would be to try and get some sent here direct from Peru, but the timeframe on the z1 order is 6 months, so I would think it could bea year or more before they start looking at worldwide distribution (if at all).

Here's something that might get you 2 seater drivers excited about getting one of these rear bars!

    http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=300338

Even after you factor in the $180US delivery by Z1 to their US depot they should still be cheaper to ship to Oz than what Z1 are quoting! ;)

    Update from Z1

We've confirmed with TwinZ Design that our entire order is complete and nearly ready for shipment. At this time it's a matter of packaging and shipping on their end and we expect to see the bumpers here at Z1 in late July. At that time we will begin repacking them for individual shipment to customers and will be contacting those who preordered for final payment and shipment instructions.
As it stands there were 50 bumpers pre-ordered and we have sold a small number since the pre-order period ended. We have additional bumpers coming to us on this shipment. So there will be a number of units available for purchase if you did not get in on the pre-order. These units will be first come first served.

Good news for the 2+2 crowd. We have confirmed that a 2+2 prototype is finished and is waiting for final install and fitment. We will once again launch a pre-order "group buy" for the 2+2 bumpers when they are production ready.

Everyone who has ordered one should expect to see their bumper the 1st or 2nd week of August as we will begin shipping ASAP once they arrive and orders are paid.
