Can I say I like ed300ZX's comment?

We have fitted quite a few her at UAS. We fitted one last Saturday, including extra struggle as the customer didn't have his lock nut key, so the added weight of the wheels on made it harder to fit. It took Ben an hour including checking over the vehicle.

I can understand it would be a struggle to fit at home. It is sort of like building a ship in bottle and a tight fit and everything is loaded. Also it is like an optical illusion as it looks like it won't fit but you grit your teeth keep going and it does fit. The trick is to loosen everything off including the engine cross member to chassis nuts, then start each bolt before tightening any one bolt to much.

I hope this helps.

Is it worth mentioning that if the brace just slipped in without resistance that it wouldn't actually be working....?

I was said customer, sorry John I have been to busy to post this week however guys what he is saying above is correct. I think in your driveway it will be a PIA however take it to a shop and it should not take to long. It looks a gazillion times easier when you can walk under the car on a hoist.

In addition I was SUPER impressed with the service from John and the interest he takes in his customers + Ben is just the KING mechanic. He was very thorough, quick and helpful. I dont think my car goes anywhere else from now on, UAS must be glad he is back. It may be a little over 100 an hour but they were honest, fast and didnt miss a thing when looking over the car and obviously know them inside out backways, frontway, sideways etc.

Two and a half years later, it's ON

Rollin put it on for me.

He didn't have any issues just used some and and it's ON.

I really notice that the front of the car seems harder, like the damping has been increased.

Any fitment issues with splash guards or anything might be up for one of these in the future.

Very tidy.
I removed my engine splash shield before I took the car to Rollin.
I will take a photo before I put it back.

Rollin didn't say he had any problems with anything about my car.
So nothing to report about fitting the underbrace either.

PS. He told me I will SOON need to replace my stock exhaust after the cats to the tips.
Same as you.

Sweet, sounds like it is a good product that can be installed and hidden away by the splash guards and improve handling. I definitely think I'll try and get one of these one day.

Well hopefully you have more luck replacing your exhaust compared to me, cant believe how hard it is to find stock mufflers for the Z32. No one I have contacted have any and considering some many people change to aftermarket I thought there would be tons of them laying around. I guess not.

Rollin is a champ. Fixed my car when some "reputable" places have looked at it in Sydney and just stuffed things up more. It is seriously going better than it ever has in the whole time I've owned it. Acts like a completely different car.

No hesitation in recommending his work

Thanks for the comments guys.

With standard components the brace fitted with real stove ease. Had to tweak one side slightly to line up and had to run a tap through the threaded holes

With a larger radiator , hard pipe lower radiator hose or a lager away bar there may be more fitment issues but I can't confirm.

Not saying that anything is wrong with my UAS brace (or the installation of it) but the opportunity to have it re-installed has presented itself.
(Caster bush replacement, so it will come out and go back in)
There are four existing bolts on the Z32 that are used to hold the brace on.
The front 2 are also through the radius tension control rod caster bush (a part with many names) but the other two bolts have been fed through their holes from the front of car and nut on back.
I want to know if there is any reason why these bolts cannot be fed from the back and push forward. The nut would then be within this part of the brace (shown in 1st picture)

The picture below shows the nut end exposed and the bolt head end would be within the brace mount.

So I am asking (if looking at the picture) could the bolt be fed in from the right pushing through to the left (toward front of car) and nut goes on from left side of pic.
