my mate has a 180sx and since he has lost his licence.. when we go out i drive his car coz i cbf to drive mine... and that is almost every friday and saturday for the last 4 months.. so i guess that kind of counts :cool:

i don't mind the 180sx. they're light and easy to mod. my cousin bought one recently and the engine felt pretty strong for it's age. i prefer the 300zx for it's looks though.

psst you realise that 180s came out with sr20's in 1991 just like silvias, mid 1991 that is, so its not the year your after its the engine cheech.

i agree with the going back thing tho, zed overpowers a 180 any time, only thing a 180 has is drift... light weight n no lag! have fun driftin... fully sic!

Own both a 300 and a 180, both great cars.
Have run a 13.003 on street tyres (nexens), quicker than most of the 300's on here, some good rubber and easy into the 12's.
So not only good at drifting.:cool:

i had a NA s13, it did go when u pushed it. not fun 2 drive in the wet as there so light the bloody car was all over the place and no torque!!

I'm posting this thread on behalf of a mate who wants to trade his Z for a
180.

The main reason for the trade is petrol consumption and yes he likes drifting. I can reassure everyone that the Z is in good condition mechanically and cosmetically.

I agree a Z is way better than a 180, but at the same time everyone here has to agree with me that it drinks petrol like theres no tomorrow.

But yeah I still love my Z regardless........
