View Full Version : Black 300zx TT Auto 4 Seater - $6500 - Has Problem

The car use to go like a rocket. I was selling the car 6 months ago (For 11k) and the buyer wanted me to get the A/c fixed. WHAT A MISTAKE! I had the A/c compressor replaced and it has never run properly since. Runs rough, very rich and has no power

Originally the problem was tracked to a broken wire in the loom.
This had happened when the mech pushed the loom out of the way to fit the new compressor.

Had the top end of the loom rewired but the problem has not been fixed. ignitor, fuel filter, CAS, Computer, swapped over with no improvment.

Been told that it has faulty temp sensor and knock sensor, and that the fuel pump is on full power 100% of the time.

Sell as is unreg $6500

Mate, from what your saying this could be fixed quite simply, det sensor can be bypassed and CTS can be cleaned or replaced with i think a VL turbo one for quite cheap, i would post up in zed related and ask if somone in brissy can come and give you a hand as this doesnt sound like a $5,000 problem, more like a bit of TLC and thats it, possibly a new loom which still isnt a 5k problem, dont jump into this i think you are making a mistake dropping the price this low
